Last week saw the opening of the new building for Churchfield School. In the next few weeks demolition work on the old St John’s building will be getting underway. Last year local filmmakers Alistair Campbell and Deb Richardson captured the demolition of the Beechfield building on camera and have edited into a short compilation. They have also made two short cine-portraits, which feature memories of local people involved with or attendees of the two schools. You can view all three films here.
